I would personaly prefer to play with just currier orders and let the ai do as they feel they can.
But I find the new currier orders lacking compeard to Gettysburg(espacaly lack of map)
So right now in my Napoleon battle. My units are a right mess, I usual move a division or corps manualy, to the place I want them, then turn on the ai and give attack order.
Sometimes taking TC of brigades or even single battalions to move them around.
I attacked the allies in the flank(moving to the left of hogoumont) There was just 3 battalions in my way, I moved sevral thousand cav and a few thousand men With a mix of ai and TC I forced 3 british battalions in square, fired on them with infantry, then a TC battery wheeled right up in their face, the units held on for a VERY long time, I mean most of their squares were just gone, when they ran my cav cut them down.
I also TCed a couple of lone battalions to flank the british guards trying to reenforce hogumont. (poor poor guards)
How do you play
