For an update

Post by miller3492 »

Im a graphic junkie but for some reason SOW graphic have always has a sweet spot in my heart. I like the way the game looks. Only thing I would like to see to sprite update is some blood on the dead sprites like in Gettysburg. also after melee charges, dead sprites are disappearing quicker than normal, just something to look into.

there is an option of having all the
dead bodies stay in the field (but i suspect you knew that).
i think that if you have
that unchecked after some time they dissapear, or they could dissapear
after a certain number, something like that:

1000 dead bodies visible. 1000+1 dead bodies on the field,
so erase the first dead bodie: 0001 and leave body number 1001.

I usally uncheck this option for one reason, the bodies do not stack when on. For example, in all SOW game if the show all bodies option is on, when a dead sprite falls ontop of a current dead spirte, it fades into it. If the show all bodies is turned off, when a dead sprite falls ontop of a current dead sprite, the image will stack and show more dead units over all.

When the box is unchecked, some bodies will stay the entire map, so basically by unchecking the option you see more dead units. The only current problem is that alot units are fading instantly when in melee
