Toggle "Take Command" from the AI best seen from the Toolbar, not Context Menu.

The "take command" button which takes command away from the AI and gives it to me looks the same whether it is Off or On.

How do I give command back to the AI and how can I tell which units are not under AI command (because I can forget which ones I've Taken Command).

The TC (take command) button is a toggle. When you have taken command the flag icon in the button should be white. Click it again and it should change. On my display at least, it doesn't look the same always but changes colour depending on the state of the commander or unit selected. If you are using couriers there will be a slight delay to the TC order.

There's a button lower down on the toolbar which has several flags and is red IIRC - this is to give back command to all subordinate units, I find it very handy.

How do we request NSD to emphasize the color change on the button when Take Command toggles on and off?

Maybe they could do this in an upcoming patch?

As it stands now, the toggle on and off of Take Command is not detectable to my eyes. I am not color blind.

Perhaps you're missing which button it is? It is clearly visible when highlighted.

Thanks so much for the help. I was looking at the Context Menu. That's the wrong place to look. Toggle on and off of Take Command is not shown on the Context Menu.

The toolbar is the place to look.
