Goumont PM Map
We just played a sandbox MP game and saw that Goumont isn't a fort in the PM map. Is this a mistake? It was held all day so ought to be a fort on both maps?

It's badly damaged by then, so it wasn't right making it a fort again. The walls still have the high defensive value though.

Well, I guess that's one way of looking at it, but damaged or not it held as a defensive bulwark all day. In fact even though French howitzers set it ablaze this famously had no effect on the defenders resolve or ability to hold out. A blazing building can't be occupied by a defender but equally it can't be assaulted by an attacker. In some ways the fires may have made its defensive value greater.
I would imagine a non-fort Goumont would fall easily in any PM scenario.
Remember also that many of these games are sandbox or MP so always going with a historical view isn't always the best for repeated playings on the same map.
Is it practical for us to mod the PM map into a version that has the place fortified?

I don't see any issues with you modding it yourself. However, we'll take another look at this and consider it for the next patch.

Edit: Actually I don't think it could be modded all the way. The CSV part could be put in easily, but the buildings also need to have the fort attribute applied for the fort to work, which can't be done without the map tools.
So again, I'll take a look for the patch.
