Game stop working after selecting a scenario

Post by kaplan71 »

Hello --

I have Windows 7 Home Edition 64-bit running on my computer. I have installed the game, and also installed the two patch updates. The game is configured to run in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

Prior to installing the two updates, I was able to launch the game without issue. Now whenever I select a scenario, the game immediately stops working, and displays a message indicating that.

I can remove the patches to see if that solves the problem, but before I do that I wanted to know if anyone had encounter this issue, and knew of another means to correct it?

Thanks.

Can you please post the contents of your sowwl.log file directly following the crash.

It can be in your documents folder, SOWWL

Hello --

Thank-you for your reply. As requested I am posting the log file in question. I had a chance to look at it, and there is not much to go by in the diagnosis.

I don't see the attachment; please check if in the sandbox screen you can see all the maps. Verify also the event log of windows at the moment of crash if something is specified
