scenario editor won't run

Just having my first go at this and when I try to launch the scenario editor I get this, any ideas

The scenario editor saves the scenario in the Scenarios folder of the DLC Ligny folder.

I think you can create a folder like that in the game directory also if you don't own the DLC.

Probably there's a way to make the scenario editor saving directly into the scenarios folder in your documents folder but I have to take a look at it

Thankyou for your help but that is all Greek to me. I thought that if I launch a program the necessary files would be already there

Do you have steam or matrix version?

I think the issue raised with the last SDK version update or with the last patch, something that should be addressed, of course

That's the problem it just won't launch at all

To make the editor work I had to install the SDK into the root directory of the game (where the SOWWL.exe is)
The editor is a sub directory of the SDK and it seems some paths are relative.

Game directory/SDK/SowScenarioEditor/..

Don't include the SOWWLSdk folder its just used to pack the files.

I just checked and if trying to run the editor from another location I get the same error message you posted.
(The editor released in v1 of the SDK runs from any location, but even so needs to be in the same directory to work properly, having access to maps and other files)

(But I have Steam version and the Matrix version may have a different structure).
