I played the Scourge of war for about 3 years, and all was ok. And approx 3-5 months ago after the latest game update my toolbar has changed. And now I don't have buttons with attack, advance, retreat and fallback on my units(generals have those buttons but the regiments are not). In Gettysburg 150 anniversary those buttons exist, and I can throw any unit into a melee attack. Thank you.
-Already made a full unistal in 2 folders(main and option folder with saved games)

Problem with toolbar
Sounds like you're using the B&F toolbar. With this toolbar those engagement buttons only appear and function when the regiment has a (in range) target.
