New Computer problem with SOWG

Gentlemen, this is a crisis of the first order. I just got a new computer. Downloaded all of my saved mods that nto my my Gettysburg folder. Activated the mods I wanted, then started to play. The map looked as expected, but the problem was with the mini-map. When I brought it up the map layout occupied only the top left one-third of the screen--the rest of the screen was black and my army was off the map in the blackout section. 

What have I done wrong, or failed to do?  Help will be greatly appreciated!
