Source data

Post by Amish John »

What are some of the primary sources you're using for location/type of woods, woodlots, crops, orchards, fences, watercourses, farm lanes, etc.?
You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

There is an excellent map of the battle field done less than a decade after the battle that is the primary historical source. It is available from LOC in the SID format, which allows near microscopic level examination of the map. There is also a more modern map set done by someone truly obsessed with this battle that has a number of useful additional details. All of our source data is being tabulated in a list that will be included with the game.
