Re: The 20th Maine
<t>One thing I like about SOW games is the uncertainty of any given situation. Your best unit might turn and run without warning, or a militia unit might save the day.<br/> <br/> The Old Guard breaking at Waterloo for example. The most veteran, best equipped troops, with experienced leadership, stil...

Re: Gun Capture Removal
I agree with MTG. Overturn or spike.
I also recall a feature in WNLB where artillery crews could abandon their guns to retreat to square and the re-man the guns at a later time.

OOB and depend files
<t>Before attempting to create a historical OOB, I am fooling around with a smaller "Fantasy" OOB.<br/> <br/> In making the French support 2 armies, I kept Napoleon as 'Side' commander, a cloned Napoleon became the Army 1 commander. When I changed the name in was enclosed in brackets { Name } and al...

Thanks Reb B)
Works in 1600x900: the strength, experience and causality boxes are slightly cut off top and bottom (maybe flattened is a better description).

Re: Number of Sides
Not sure how 3 'sides' would work, but I am working on an OOB that has side A with 2 armies and side B with 3 armies, however each 'side' has an overall commander.
The 5 army OOB does load correctly. (paying close attention to strict CVS protocol)

Re: About the game performance
<t>Granted I would like more than 5,<br/> <br/> I have fooled around with blender and a game where you create animations, they are basically static frame point A static frame point B and the program fills the frames in between. One in particular has 20 pose points for each second. Since I don't know...
