Norb, Jim, LP, AJ, et.al.: Superlatives fail me at this time to compliment the entire team on outstanding work! Comparing TC2M with SOW is like comparing a typewriter to a computer (assuming there are a few who know what a typewriter is, other than seeing one in the museum)! I can only imagine that TC2M will quickly be gathering dust on many folks' shelves. Thanks to all of you for your hard work and dedication to producing a "market trend-setter!"

Although I really do appreciate your kind words, I refuse to accept them until after you have played for a while :) Encouragement has helped us more than you can know, to complete this project. But now we are almost done, so I really want people to play and then access. So please do compare, but only after you have brought our new work through it's paces. Give it the best you've got and then let us know how we stand up. We all have hundreds of hours invested in this game and we are all very proud of it.

As Eddie Murphy once said after receiving a huge ovation as he walked out on stage to being his act. "What are you clapping for, you don't even know if I'm F'n funny yet!"
Maybe if we hadn't seen any of your products yet we might withhold our applause, but I think anyone who's played TC2M can't have any misgivings that GB will be excellent. Even if it was TC2M without any improvements it would still be good. I know there are some areas where we're curious the extent of the improvements, but I'm betting when the dust settles, it'll be a winner.
You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

I just noticed thatyou had added pictures of the commanders. That gets rid of the need to have charcater sprites. Well axcept for maybe Lee and Meade. I do have a question though about the font for the names. Will you be able to make it a bit more facy, for it seesm kind fo dull.

GET A ROPE!

As my granddad used to say, "Some folks would bitch if you hung them with a NEW rope!"

My question for the hangman: Why is the Confederate Naval Jack (or similar flag occasionally used by units in the western Confederate army) placed behind the commanders, et. al. rather than the eastern army's battle flag, or the 1st or 2nd Confederate National? I'm sure there is a logical explanation...right? :woohoo:

hey guys!...I'm new here...didn't find a thread to introduce myself properly...
just wanted to say, that I've been following this game for quite a while now...I loved TC2M and now I'm really looking forward to this one...

March Screenshots are great! Love them...many thanks to the Team...GREAT WORK! (but you know that already anyway... B) )

I'm a student of military history at uni...at the moment my focus is on ancient times...my main "hobby" interest lies in the Napoleonic era...but I'm fascinated by all that is in connection with war anyway...(having been an soldier for 4 years, two of them active, and from January onwards I'll be an ensign at the officer's academy)

as you might have noticed above...I'm not native English...so please forgive any future mistakes...

PS: if my post here is totally unfitting..feel free to move it
