Also make sure that the folder you are putting them in is named OOBs. The 's' is important.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.
Re:How do I import OOB's?
Thanks for the help guys and sorry for the delay, things come up. Chamberlain, I did download the SDK and read the manual. It completely confused me. Little Powell, I think I set it up like you said. Mods/My new folder/OOBs/My custom OOBs. I did add the "s". Should this modded OOB show up in the Mods list. Is this how we use modified OOBs in this game? It seems so different from TC2M. I just need to get the hang of it.

Yes the modded OOB should show up in the Mods list. That's the only way to use modded OOBs in the game. It keeps things organized and makes it easier to enable/disable mods without messing up the whole game. Thanks for the help guys and sorry for the delay, things come up. Re:How do I import OOB's?
It is completely different from the previous game, but once you have it set up, it is fairly simple to use, and eliminates the need to constantly change the default files.
From the Desktop – create five new folders by right clicking on an empty space.
Name the first one – OOBs
Name the second one – Maps
Name the third one – Logistics
Name the fourth one – Scenarios
Name the fifth one – Mods
Now – Drag the first, second and the third one into the Scenarios folder.
Now Drag the Scenarios folder into the Mods folder.
Now, open the Windows Explorer – and Drag the Mods folder into the Scourge of War – Gettysburg folder.
You place any changed file into the appropriate folder!
Example – Data Files – goes into the Logistics folder.
Example – Map Files – goes into the Map folder!
Example – OOB Files – goes into the OOBs folder!
The game will only change things based on the contents of these folders, other-wise the game will load the default files.
Once you start the game – remember to Check the Modifications Menu – and place a box in front the Scenarios – this will activate the mods.

Re:How do I import OOB's?
I see the new OOB folder in the mods section when I start the game. When I go to single player and then sandbox, I don't have any new OOBs. It just shows the ones that came with the game. Is there another way to start the game when using a modified OOB?
Re:How do I import OOB's?
Davinci, I did everything you said and it just shows me the default OOBs when I go to play sandbox.

Did you preface the name of your oob with OOB_SB_? If not, that's the likely problem.

I didn’t remember changing the name of my OOB to OOB_SB_ , so I never would have thought of that as being the problem!
It’s a good thing that Marching Thru Georgia has a better knack for these files than I do!
The New Setup – is a great system for modifying the various files, without the need to change any of the default files.
