Oh, yes...the ability to turn off "pathing."

What would it mean to turn off pathing?
Btw Willard half of those or more can be done by ourselves after we can mod.

The ability to withdraw a unit from the front line towards the rear without having it move towards the enemy and/or run the length of the line between the two opposing forces! For example, if I change a battle line to column and move it directly to the rear, the last thing I want is for it to move FORWARD between the firing lines! What would it mean to turn off pathing?

Re: MP Players - What do you want?
Jack,
We can already do this by using the "control" key to make waypoints for the unit in question to follow. I've been using it for sometime now. It can be really slick. Saves a lot of time and frustration. It is VERY useful for running a unit through smallish gaps in your own lines to retreat or fall back of whatever. You must remember to TC the unit or it WILL stop and fire if shot at or attacked.
Hope that helped.

I know you want more control of movement and pathing, but for now, put the 'getaway' and/or the 'Agetaway' (Brigade or above) command on your Work/keyboard.csv. This is handy to move troops quickly to the rear with no penalty.

Exactly, TC and use waypoints and they'll always go where you want them.We can already do this by using the "control" key to make waypoints for the unit in question to follow. Re: MP Players - What do you want?
Thanks, Jack, but that is not what I am complaining about....it is the "automatic" pathing in the game. I would like the ability to turn it off and be able to go directly from point B to point A, easily avoiding blocking troops by being in column formation....and not having to micro-manage the route by establishing waypoints.Jack,
