Very nice work Zeke, it's going to give our community some most appreciated new content. Like your artillery gun treatments, cool idea. On a historical note, I notice a lot of 3rd bunting CSA flags, these weren't issued till right before the Gettysburg campaign. If you want to be more historic with this release, replacing these with the 1st and 2nd bunting issues (provided in B&F) would fit the mood better.

Opened and tested the first two sandbox OOBs with no errors. However, I did find an error with the 'Options' 'in game' screen. I fixed it with the following attachment, I'm assuming you (Zeke) didn't need any lines except for the Splash screens...if so, you'll need to make some more adjustments with this file as it was causing an issue with B&F.

Download and copy this file in the Logistics folder of the Jacksons 1862 Valley Campaign. Rename it to: gscreens (if necessary), followed by it's .csv file type indicator. Overwrite previous gscreens.csv file.

The attachment gscreens.csv is no longer available
Thanks again Zeke for this wonderful contribution! :) Playing it with the South Mountain or Pipe Creek Maps probably will be the most immersive historically. Also folks, I recommend including the Terrain Mod by Jolly and of course...
BloodBath. HehHehHeh

An additional note, prioritize Jacksons 1862 Valley Campaign mod below all other enabled mods for best results.

Thankyou for your posts and comments I'll have a look at these errors and amend and repost

Don - Well spotted my friend. It was the 21st NC in the valley with Jackson - led by Col. William W. Kirkland and Lt.Col. Rufus Pepper - both of which were injured at 1st Winchester (Lt Col Pepper mortally along with the senior company commander Capt Hedgcock)

RebBugler and Davinci Thanks fella's for the log details I'll correct and repost - I chose this campaign as the OOBs are smaller and easier to track errors and it will give me time to refine the mod before doing a biggie like Atlanta, Vicksburg or Peninsula/Seven days. :)

Jollys Terrain mod is excellent :cheer:

GBS - Did you activate the Bugles and Flags mod first and then the Valley campaign mod? If you could post the error file as Davinci has explained we can hopefully see the cause, However you stated that you had a crash when the Jackson Valley campaign mod was disengaged which means it might be another mod causing an issue or an older mod that doesn't like 1.61 ;) I had an old version of Gettysburg 3 days in 7 hours that caused a crash and I deleted it (the new versions work fine with 1.61)

Hmm the blood mod I don't think I have tried that to be honest but seen the screen shots it looks evil!!!! - Pipe Creek maps are nice for this campaign I would use one of the Gettysburg maps for Winchester and Front Royal. Actually maybe this is something I should look at for including in my overview - The 3rd line Pipe Creek map and foxes gap could also double as a Kennesaw, Rocky Face Ridge or Perryville! B) B) :)

P.S. for feedback how does everybody like the slight changes to the cavalry and the Unit flags on the artillery and wagons better? Or do you prefer the stock game alternatives?

Zeke: I really like & appreciate what you've done & what you're doing. You're producing great stuff. I have no problems with playability, which is the main concern. I used several of your OOBs in the Alpine setting, always with great results. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Hey Zeke,

No problems here with the gameplay. ! Fired up the 1st scenario OOB, played about 25 minutes and the action was hot !

Great job with your MOD, hope to see more in the future !

;)

I second RebBugler, use his BloodBath MOD, outstanding eye candy that adds reality to the game !

;)

Hey Chamberlain

How are you doing?! There will certainly be more to come.....I have a hankering for marching on Richmond with "Little Mac" next! ;) ;)

Just need to sort out any kinks with the first release before moving on :)

Zeke, I hope you read this. I took your advice and deleted my old Gettysburg 3 days in 7 hours mod, reinstalled your Jackson mod and it now works fine. I apologies that I called it buggy. BTW which maps do you recommend that we use for the scenarios?

No problem I'm glad it working okay for you now enjoy :) That mod is quite old and the changes in 1.61 mean that quite a few of the older mods may have an issue with the new update - Most of the modder's here are quite cool though and regularly update their releases to reflect the updates but if you hit a problem just post or PM them B)

- There are a couple of errors that have been highlighted (nothing massive thankfully) I'll be amending in the next couple of days and the new file posted by RebBugler works fine so I'll include this also (thanks RB! ;))

Doing good Zeke !

More MODS, sounds real good... :)

I see you MODS are just as popular here as the MODS you created over at TC2M !

Keep up the awesome work !

Hey gbs,

I tried a few maps with Zekes' MOD and I like the South Mountain Maps, both 'Fox's Gap' and 'Crampton's Gap' as they both have good terrain for fighting...

For Winchester and Front royal I'd use the Mac Map as these fight took place in and outside a town :)

The Pipe creek maps are good for portraying the agricultural basin of the Shenandoah Valley the south Mountain maps also are nice for these oobs ;)
