Modding in WAR3DII Gettysburg....First Impressions.
Re:Modding in WAR3DII Gettysburg....First Impressions.
In the older games various markers were in the sky and it was difficult to find the exact spot on the ground it referenced. We now have a rotating circle so you don't have to worry.B)

Noticed the absence of the green and white
halos over units. Are the gold and silver flag standard eagles a new way of showing commanded units in your screen shots?

Certainly you would like for others to enjoy the fruit of your labors as well as any modder. How's that going to work?

It would still be a modification of the origional game. You'd have to download it and place it in the Mod folder. It would then show up in your main game screen under the Modifications button.....no seperate install. It'd piggyback on top of the origional game. Hiho.

The screenshots are fantastic Bedbug, I have some questions for you, if you can answer:
1) the sprites of this new game are made with the same process of Take Command? Make a 3d model with 3ds Max, make the animations of the model and then use Photoshop to make the sprite files?
2) will it be possible to use the sprites of Take Command: 2nd Manassas?
Thank you, many compliments and good work!

Hey, alessillo,B)
Yes to both. My sprites were made in Max and are old ones that hold up well, but needed some serious cleaning up. The Getty sprites were made in Maya, but follow the same .dds format. If you follow the same format you should have no trouble inserting any sprite in a mod in this game.
