Re: This game for steam (hear me out!)
<t>For bringing in new customers: Yes.<br/> <br/> For being the sole provider: Absolutely Not.<br/> <br/> Some of the negatives regarding Steam has already been mentioned, notably how your account can be pretty much shut off at a whim, and all your games purchased there denied to you. Whether by cha...

Re: Courier Pathing and Default Camera Questions
<t>Yeah.. I normally prefer they go straight if the receiver is anywhere remotely close. But in single-player they've been running straight across my lines right into enemy gunfire & death, instead of heading down the nearby road leading away from them. :pinch: <br/> <br/> Would be great if we c...

Re: Battle of Chickamuanga
<r><QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>If were talking about going west I would love Chickamuanga but I think from a business perspective Shiloh would make more sense and be about as interesting to me. <br/> <br/> With reference to what was discussed earlier, I have War in the East but haven't given it much of a c...

Re: Sandbox Optional Way to Fight Just Awesome
Make sure you put at least one Victory location in - that should lessen the AI's wandering some, I'd hope.

Re: Courier Pathing and Default Camera Questions
Thanks Blaugrana.
I've checked those threads before and didn't see anything currently possible with either, pretty sure. Optional additions for the future, perhaps.

Re: Sandbox Optional Way to Fight Just Awesome
Your superior AI commander will also give you orders on where to move, although it has looked quite confused as to what it's attempting to do in some of the sandbox battles, when I've tried to follow it's orders in the past.

Courier Pathing and Default Camera Questions
<r>I have a couple pretty basic questions:<br/> <br/> 1) Is there a way to set/save the default camera view level when navigating via OOB (cursor keys) and other such quick switches (the ME button for ex.)?? Despite having Gen John Pope as an ancestor, I'm not using the HITS restrictions, and scroll...

Ammo Wagons.. How Do You Deal?
<t>I've been waffling about how best to deal with ammo wagons and their overwhelming urge to run across lines and surrender to the enemy ASAP.<br/> <br/> While I'll often TC them when they start the usual defection-via-road, it becomes a pain in larger (corps) situations when there is already too mu...
