How to tell how the battle is going?
So as I am up to about 100 games or so on Scourge of War Gettysburg, I am losing many of the battles and would like a tip or two as to how to monitor how I'm doing mid-battle. It's still fun but winning is more fun!

What is the jump map you refer to? Be more specific in how to use both watches if you would be willing. Thanks ahead of time if you do.

Re: How to use the map in Gettysburg/Antietam Games?
Thanks once again Davinci! I am improving a bit just by playing more. I may take you up on your offer if I get to a "brick wall".

When I have a problem is when I am far removed from the enemy; I look at the map, and when I see they appear to be due SW from my loc...

How to use the map in Gettysburg/Antietam Games?
<t>I enjoy playing Gettysburg/Antietam Scourge of War and am getting somewhat better at the rudimentary skills: carefully studying the objectives before doing anything and moving my forces reasonably well to where I want them to go but: how can I better use the map available? It seems the map is not...

Artillery not following orders
It seems to me that on occasion, one of my artillery units will fail to comply with my order. Especially when I try to target specific targets. What am I missing here?

historically based and controlled?
Ok, so today I played a sandbox game near Dunker church and I controlled my units reasonably well but wondered: do the units I don't control act and react based upon a combination of their unit commander's orders plus historical accuracy?

Re: moving units whenever I want?
